It was the ancient Romans that made famous Bormio's thermal water, testified by Plinio the old (1st century D.C.) and by Cassiodoro ( 6th century D.C.).
The water is sulphate, alcaline, mineral and comes out of the ground at a temperature of between 37° c and 40 ° c.
